Experience the College Tour of a Lifetime

 

Calling all high school students! Get ready for an unforgettable journey during Spring Break as we hit the road for our annual College Tour in Florida! This exciting adventure is your chance to explore top universities, connect with college students and staff, and get a firsthand look at campus life—all while making lifelong memories with your friends.

 

Here’s what makes this tour an incredible opportunity:
  • Explore Florida Colleges & Universities: Tour a variety of campuses to discover what college life is really like.
  • Build Your Future: Gain insight into academic programs, scholarships, and the admissions process.
  • Fun and Adventure: Enjoy the perfect mix of learning and fun while bonding with peers on an unforgettable Spring Break trip.

 

This experience is open to all high school students who meet the eligibility requirements.

College Tour Eligibility Requirements

 

To participate in the College Tour, teens must meet the following criteria:

 

  1. Active Membership: Must be an active member of the Boys & Girls Clubs.
  2. Good Standing: Maintain good standing with the Club, adhering to all policies and expectations.
  3. Volunteer Service: Complete a minimum of 20 volunteer service hours within the Club.
  4. Program Attendance: Attend the Club for at least 10 days during the program period.
  5. Teen Program Engagement: Participate in either:
    • A minimum of 3 teen events, or
    • Complete 1 full teen program curriculum.
  6. Academic Requirement: Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5.
  7. Grade Level: Be a current high school student entering 10th, 11th, or 12th grade
  8. Pre-Tour Preparation: Complete all required pre-work and journal assignments.
  9. Mandatory Meeting: Attend the mandatory College Tour information session.
